Welcome to our new online workspace and communications center.
This web site is a workspace for volunteers and staff to better achieve the mission of Scouting within the Last Frontier Council. As you browse around the site, you will find many pages of empty canvas waiting for volunteers and staff to fill with information, forms, links, contact information, photos, and resources. This will ensure that the site develops with volunteer needs at the forefront. When you have input, please send details via e-mail to the appropriate staff member listed in the staff directory or the appropriate volunteer chairman. There is no single webmaster for this site, as it will be a collective workspace for our council leadership. We're not even done yet moving the massive amount of files from the old web site to this one, so there will be daily additions for a while.
You will notice that the structure of the site reflects the committee structure of our council: Membership, Finance, Program, and Unit Service. Each district also has its own space and resources available.
The events on the council calendar are categorized by these functional committees and districts. When you view the calendar, remember to select which type of events you wish to view. You may also select "All Organizations" to view all events. Some calendar events will enable online registration. This is a very powerful tool for us, but will take some getting used to and some training to use it. If you have questions with the event registration, please contact the council service center.
