They are worth an extra 1% commission to attend so start making plans now. Spring Ordeal is scheduled for the weekend of May 20–22, 2011 at Slippery Falls Scout Ranch. Each member should make it their own responsibility to make sure each candidate elected from their Troop is registered to attend and has transportation. If they can’t join in the spring, their last opportunity to become a member of the order will be at Fall Ordeal. Spring Ordeal also provides a great opportunity for Ordeal members to seal their membership and become a Brotherhood member. Every year, approximately 300 Arrowmen from all across Oklahoma and Arkansas gather for a weekend of fun, fellowship, training and competition. The Section Conclave is the largest Order of the Arrow event outside of a National OA Conference. Some of this functionality comes in the form of surveys and interactions with Scouts, volunteers, and families about their interests in The Summit and the 2013 jamboree itself.
