Final 2012 Development Update August 31, 2012 

This will be the last Development Update/email sent to the entire group about the 2012 campaign. As of 8-31-12 we have raised over $860,000 as an organization. There are individual campaigns and districts that will continue to raise Friends of Scouting dollars toward their 2012 goal, and donations will absolutely still be accepted. After this email our focus will be on organizing and preparing for the 2013 Friends of Scouting Campaign.

Thank you so much to all of the volunteers who have worked-and are still working-toward funding our mission and positively impacting the lives of youth. Without Friends of Scouting dollars, we would not be able to accomplish our mission.

Special congratulations to the following districts who achieved 100% or more of their Friends of Scouting goal for 2012!

  • Big Tepee District, Greg McCain-Chair & Kendrya Joseph-Staff Advisor: 101% of Goal

  • Canadian Valley District, Larry Gill-Chair & Phillip Mitchell-Staff Advisor: 102% of Goal

  • Manuel Perez Jr District, Jack Werner-Chair & Al Morales-Staff Advisor: 107% of Goal (and 1st to reach 100%!)

  • New Horizons District, Clarence Beatty-Chair & Al Morales-Staff Advisor: 126% of Goal

 

  • Also-as of Friday, Chisolm Trail District, Ann Manchester-Chair & Aaron Elyachar-Staff Advisor only needed $520 to reach their goal. Undoubtedly the volunteers will surpass their goal very shortly!

Again, thank you for your support of Scouting and helping us accomplish our mission by ensuring we have the needed funding to reach youth.
