WHY JOIN SCOUTING? Your son is at a critical time in his physical, mental, social, and spiritual development. We believe Scouting is the best program available that helps develop values in young people. An independent study by Louis Harris & Associates verified our beliefs: "As boys grow up, the frequency with which they do things which are immoral, unethical, and illegal, increases rapidly. The survey also found strong evidence that Scouting may reduce the growth of these illegal and unethical behaviors as boys grow up. The longer boys had been in the Scouts, the less likely boys in each age group were to report such behaviors." We invite you to accompany your son to School Night to Join Scouting. You will meet other parents whose sons are joining, and learn more about upcoming activities and progams.
