OFFICE VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

Do you have some time, even for just part of a day to volunteer to help out around the Council offices?  We are looking for people that we could call upon to help out during certain special occasions.  Sometimes the Council is in need of extra help to get certain things done such as: printings, filing, folding and stuffing envelopes for mailings.  Even if you are only available to help on Tuesday and Thursday mornings or maybe only on Monday afternoons, we would be interested in your help.  This is not a daily or even weekly need.  This is your opportunity to give us a hand at special times during the year that we assistance. If you are willing to volunteer to help out when you can, click here.

Commissioners' Encampment

The time for the Commissioners' Encampment is drawing nigh ....  It will be an outstanding opportunity for food, fellowship and getting up to speed on what is going on in the council -- to say nothing of some very timely discussions and presentations on topics vital to effective commissioner service.

Jamboree On The Air

In the past week three more JOTA stations have announced plans within the council.  This along with the national JOTA committee reorganization may help to become the biggest JOTA ever.   We have 4 total JOTA locations across the council.

Station K5O will be at Slippery Falls Scout Ranch operated by Randy Patterson (KF5FBI) and Brad Snyder (KF5EWZ)

FALL FELLOWSHIP

Each year as the leaves change colors, Ma-Nu Lodge meets at Slippery Falls Scout Ranch for the annual Fall Fellowship weekend. This weekend is generally regarded as the biggest and best event of the year. We relax and celebrate our hard work over the past year, introduce the new Vigil Honor Candidates, and elect new lodge officers. There will be patch trading, blackpowder rifle, shotgun, .22 rifle, archery, great food, and tons of good fellowship. There will also be an opportunity to seal your membership and become a Brotherhood Member.

The 2011 Fall Fellowship is scheduled for October 14th through 16th at Slippery Falls and registration can be found on the web here.
