Cub Scout Resident Camp at Camp George Thomas

Avast, me hearties! All aboard for pirate camp!  Join us for a Summer Resident Camp at Camp George Thomas offers all Cub Scouts and Webelos Scouts an outstanding opportunity for advancement while having swashbuckling fun and making new friends during a three-night camp session.  Our council's camp consistently receives the highest ratings from the National Boy Scouts of America and is known as one of the best Cub Scout Camps in the nation.  Arrr!

We encourage you and your Pack to make reservations to attend Resident Camp at Camp George Thomas in June of each year.  Our camp offers more value than ever!

We are fortunate to have excellent camping facilities at George Thomas.  You'll love to plunge into the beautiful new swimming pool which opened last year.  You'll also enjoy twenty new flushing toilets and sixteen new private shower stalls on the east and north sides of camp.

Cub Scout program activities include BB-gun shooting, nature exploration, swimming, crafts, fishing, and arrrchery.  Webelos Dens may choose their program from a wide variety of activity pin options.  All meals are provided in an air-conditioned dining hall.  Our experienced staff will support your overnight camping experience with expertise and enthusiasm.

Weigh anchor and set sail now!  Make resident camp at Camp George Thomas part of your Pack's course to earn the National Summertime Pack Award.  The CGT staff members are ready to assist you in your pillaging for a great summer camping experience.

In 2009, all camp sessions will provide program for both Cub Scouts and Webelos Scouts.  Release your inner buccaneer with yours lads at George Thomas Resident Camp!

REGISTRATION
Please click on one of the above sessions to register online. Please register all Scouts in your Pack at one time, although individual families may attend sessions on their own.

FEES
The 2009 CGT resident camp fee includes meals, program supplies, T-shirt, camp support and a patch.  Participant fees for 2009, at George Thomas are as follows:
Scouts - $95.00 each  Adults - $55.00 each
There is a five dollar discount for making full payment on or prior to May 12, 2009.

All fees must be paid in full before partipants attend camp.  Fees may be paid online via credit card or in person at either Council Service Center:

DEPOSIT
A deposit of $10.00 per camper (Scout or adult) will be due on or before April 13, 2009. This deposit will be applied to the camp registration fee.

FINAL PAYMENT
The balance of the fee, is due May 12, 2009, in the Council Service Center.  Please make sure you use the  registration forms found at the back of the Leader's guide which is sent to each Pack in April, or register online at www.lastfrontiercouncil.org

REGISTERED CUB SCOUTS, WEBELOS SCOUTS AND REGISTERED ADULTS ONLY
Due to insurance coverage, CGT Cub Scout and Webelos Scout Resident Camp sessions are camp sessions for Cub and Webelos Scouts, registered parents, and registered Leaders only.  Program and materials cannot be provided for brothers and sisters nor may unregistered adults attend.  Please do not bring an extra person to Camp.  This rule applies to all ages.
