CAMP GEORGE THOMAS

 

Open to ALL Cub Scout Pack Families

Tiger Cubs, Bobcats, Wolves, Bears, and Webelos!

Spend the weekend at Camp George Thomas for a great weekend of fun and games.

Each fall, George Thomas Fall Family Adventures has a theme featuring a different foreign country.  This year's theme is Canada!

Crafts, Games, Nature, Special Surprises

 

Register Early!  Space is limited to 375 Campers per session.  Check session four space availability before you register.

Each family can register and check-in separately.

2009 fees are $20.00 per camper.  Youth or adult, except that children age 3 or younger attend free of charge again in 2009.  Please note:  Registration fees for Cub Scout Fall Family Adventure Weekends are transferable, but not refundable.

 

Check in for each session is from 5:30pm - 8:00pm on the first night

Check out is by 10:30 am on Sunday morning for each session

 

An evening Campfire program on Saturday provides fun for all.  Meals included in your Fall Family Adventure campers fee include Saturday breakfast, lunch, and dinner and Sunday breakfast.  Bring a sack supper for the Friday evening meal or eat before you arrive.  Also included in the camper fee are all program supplies and a patch for each participant.

THINGS TO REMEMBER

All vehicles will be parked at the camp entrance.  Walk down to Central Lodge to check in and see where your pack is camping.  You will be allowed to go to your campsite, unload your vehicle, and return the vehicle to the parking lot immediately.

Please do not bring pets.  We have enough critters already.

Trading Post will be available for small purchases.

We sell Sodas, Candy, and some Scouting paraphernalia.

Theme-based sweatshirts will be available for an additional fee.    It pays to pre-order.  There will be a few sweatshirts available for purchase at camp, BUT the price will increase by $2.00 each.

WHAT TO BRING

Annual Health and Medical form, part  A & C, filled out.  Tent, Sleeping bag, rain gear, warm clothes, favorite camping gear, sack supper for your Friday evening meal, and of course, your parent or guardian and your family members.
